In this programme co-presented with The Liu Kuo-sung Foundation and Tate, Ink Society invited author Rudy Tseng to launch his new publication Overturn the Centre, which documents his series of interviews with Master Liu in 2021. The CEO of The Liu Kuo-sung Foundation, Lin Lee, also shared the story behind the establishment of the Foundation during the pandemic with a mission to collect and archive artworks and records related to Liu Kuo-sung's art and life. The book launch was then followed by a sharing by Tate Curators Hera Chan, Adjunct Curator, Asia-Pacific, and Alvin Li, Curator, International Art, supported by Asymmetry, on the museum’s growing collection of modern and contemporary ink art and Tate's forthcoming exhibition on ink art in 2027.
