M+ Curator Tina Pang presented an overview of the Hong Kong visual culture collection, and discussed some of the museum's unique interdisciplinary strategies for building the collection. Tina introduced some of the artists in the collection, whose practices encompass the disciplines of design, moving image, visual art and architecture.
The talk was followed by a short presentation by Tim Calnin, Director of Tai Kwun, who introduced the newly inaugurated Tai Kwun and Central Police Station compound.
