In addition to Dr. Susan Beningson's talk on 26 March, Dr. Jay Xu, Director of the Asian Art Museum and architect Kulapat Yantrasast, gave a presentation on the transformation project of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. They spoke on how the expansion will grow the Museum's original building, a Beaux Arts structure. The new Pavilion is scheduled to open in 2019; the museum will remain open during the expansion.
