UNSUNG HEROES OF INK (2020) is a documentary on the role of paper in Chinese ink painting. It explores the often overlooked relationship between artists, their materials and the craftspeople who make them.
The private screening was followed by a discussion with Unsung Heroes of Ink Director Olivia Wang, M+ Paper Conservator Jo-Fan Huang and M+ Associate Paper Conservator Manami Hori.
