Guided viewing of The Pride of Hong Kong at HKMoA

In this tour of the Hong Kong Museum of Art's latest exhibition, "Pride of Hong Kong", Dr Nadia Lau, Curator of Chih Lo Lou at HKMoA, and Dr Phil Chan, Associate Curator of Painting and Calligraphy at the Art Museum, Chinese University of Hong Kong, gave in-depth introductions into masterpieces from three significant collections of Chinese painting and calligraphy, including Chih Lo Lou, Xubaizhai, and Bei Shan Tang collections, as well as how political turmoil during the mid-20th century triggered a massive drain of artefacts into Hong Kong, making it an important hub in the preservation of traditional Chinese art.
