In this panel discussion on the calligraphic world of Wang Dongling (b. 1945), the artist discussed alongside long-time friends and scholars his career, practice, and life journey as one of the most original innovators of traditional Chinese calligraphy in the 20th century. Preluding the panel discussion, Wang Dongling also gave a live calligraphy demonstration, creating one work of the characters "我自然“ on acrylic panel and another work on paper of Bai Juyi's poetry.
